8(a) and EDWOSB adds Database and Coding Support Tasks at CMS

G2X TAKE: Leveraging their prior experience supporting CMS on efforts such as the Hospital Improvement and Innovation Network (HIIN) and the PfP Hospital Engagement Network (HEN) quality improvement initiative, this group just added what appears to be their first two prime awards supporting CMS.

StrategyGen Co recently picked up two new contracts at CMS, both 8(a) sole source awards.
The first is a 5-year contract to provide Coding Support activities to eliminate duplicate and inaccurate information in the Grouper and MCE software; and to support CMS IPPS/LTCH website updates.
The second task is an 18-month contract to produce up-to-date market prices for Direct Practice Expense Inputs (DPEI), support the DPEI Database for the calendar year (CY) 2019 Medicare physician fee schedule (PFS) and conduct market research and provide technical assistance in the development of the CY 2019 PFS proposed and final rules associated with the direct practice expense data.

This Florida based small business with a Federal office in Columbia, MD has been quietly building out their healthcare capabilities not only at CMS, but across the broader Federal Healthcare sector, to include supporting efforts on AHRQ Accelerating Change and Transformation in Organizations Networks III (ACTION III), CMS Research, Measurement, Design and Analysis (RMADA), and the HHS Program Support Center (PSC) contract.
