(SBA Certified HUBZone Small Business) working with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) are playing a crucial role in advancing Behavioral Health Equity, which includes promoting mental health, preventing substance misuse, and providing treatments and support to underserved communities.
Specifically, during National Minority Mental Health Month in July, SAMHSA collaborates with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to stress, prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can recover from mental health challenges.
