StrategyGen has been awarded a 5-year contract in support of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to provide Marketplace Plan Management Compliance Reviews. The contract is valued at $18M. The purpose of the contract is to conduct various types of Compliance Reviews of health insurance issuers. These reviews are required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight’s (CCIIO), in support of the health insurance Exchanges (Exchanges). Compliance Reviews are one of the primary means for CMS to ensure and document qualified health plans (QHP) issuers’ compliance with Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and Federally-facilitated Exchange (FFE) requirements. This contract builds on StrategyGen’s recognized policy and regulatory capabilities and healthcare expertise.
